Deep enough to dream in brilliant colours i have never seen
This morning, sunshine is pouring into the sunroom, warming my face as i sit there and have my toast and coffee. I am reminded of a song i used to sing in church, based on Psalm 19: The heavens are singing the glory of God. And all creation is shouting for joy. Come dance in the forest , come play in the fields. And sing, sing to the glory of the Lord.
Today is the first day of spring (yay!!) and we are celebrating the season by driving to the snow next weekend for some sledding in freezing temperatures! I’ve never seen snow before so this will be a dream come true. I can’t wait!
I also can’t wait for the trees to be full of fresh green leaves, like the picture above. My pots of pansies are just beginning to bloom and i take much delight in watching the petals unfurl slowly- red, purple, cream. That is a lovely afternoon activity.

Today I was sitting under my walnut tree and looking up through the branches at the blue sky. And then I noticed that not all the leaves on the tree were green. Some of them were . . . yellow. And my first thought was “well, if autumn is starting here, then spring is starting for Gen!” And here is your blog. I love fall, but I don’t think I’m quite ready yet.
Take lots of pictures of the snow, and have people take pictures of you IN the snow! I can’t wait to see them. And I can’t believe it’ll be your first time seeing snow. Make lots of angels and make a snowman if the snow is sticky enough. I want to see you covered from head to toe! You’ll have a blast.

It’s Spring again! Gosh… and not too long ago when i was in Sydney, it was still freezing cold. I still remember the smell of the flowers by the road when i was there last year during Spring.. =)
Anyway, have a wonderful time in the snow! It’s going to be great fun, i’m sure!! Don’t forget to build a snowman and have a snowball fight!!
Love and Hugs…
