bounty

Another lovely weekend spent working with Jon on his mum’s website, reading, catching up on Grey’s Anatomy on Tivo, having hazlenut coffee (which tastes so much better when Jon makes it, as he did this weekend), eating delicious coffee cake, going to church and having lots of chats. We also got a few cherry tomatoes from our little plant in the backyard. Our chillies are growing prolifically as well- much faster than we can eat them!

Today, i am nostalgic for two tv shows i used to watch- Felicity and Ally McBeal. I am also hankering after a bonnet for this winter, although i’m not too sure if i can pull it off. I like this pattern.

I am off to find some recipes for hot cross buns for the Easter weekend. Have a good Monday, friends.

Firstly, your weekend sounds lovely. Oh and that is a lovely pattern – you can do it! I love cherry tomoatoes; especially home-grown ones that so much nicer and sweeter than the tastless supermarket variety! I really must get onto finding a good hot cross bun recipe as well; I made some last year but made the mistake of baking them apart (they really need to be shaped but firmly pressed up against each other like scones).

I wore bonnets as a kid. I used to love channeling Laura from Little House On the Prairie. :) And I wish I could remember where I just saw a blogger talking about an amazing hot cross bun recipe. If I remember, I’ll be back!

    Happy Saturday!

Have you watched Brothers and Sisters? You’ll love it I think. I went through Season 1 in something like 2 days. I barely made it through work but it was so worth it! ;)
